Emergency: Teenagers turning voilent.
Project: Frequently reading about voilent teenagers in the news, we took up this project. A project that will teach children about peace. Teaching good morals through story telling and about inner peace through meditation. Spending about one hour every week. Goal is to reach 200 kids in 2 years.
Update: Started this in March 07. By June we have done this excercise with 10 kids. At least two kids are regular visitors now.

I like the broad definition of "emergency" you're using here. Calling out the fact that our young friends are turning violent as an emergency is an innovative way to elevate the urgency of the matter. Personally, when I thought of emergency, things such as natural disasters, fires, etc. came to mind. Expanding that notion to include social, spiritual, environmental, and potentially political issues is a great idea. All the best on this project, and to eDolphins!
